Getting to Minjerribah (North Stradbroke Island)

By Car, Ride Share, Public Transport and Bicycle:
 Passenger ferries and vehicle ferries leave from Toondah Harbour at regular intervals 7 days per week.

 

Getting around on Minjerribah

A bus will meet each water taxi arrival at One Mile Jetty, Dunwich. The bus route includes Point Lookout and Amity Point. Bus info available at northstradbrokeislandbuses.com or an island taxi service is available by calling 0408 193 685. Alternatively you are able to bring your bicycle on the Stradbroke Flyer.

 

Getting to Toondah Harbour, Cleveland

By car - Cleveland is a 45 minute drive from the Brisbane airport, 1 hour drive from the Gold Coast and 45 minute drive from the Brisbane CBD. Free car parking is available in the Toondah Harbour surrounds.

 

By train -  to Cleveland, trains run from Brisbane airport, Gold Coast, Brisbane CBD or elsewhere. Use the Translink Journey Planner for more info.

The free Stradbroke Flyer courtesy bus picks up water taxi passengers from Middle Street, Cleveland, and from the Cleveland Train Station 10 minutes prior to each water taxi departure. As you exit the train station follow the footpath to your right around to the bus stop.

 

Getting to Mulgumpin (Moreton Island)

By Car, Ride Share, Private Boat, Public Transport, Bicycle:

Vehicle ferries depart from the Port of Brisbane once or twice on most days. Contact Moreton Island Adventures or visit the website MICAT Ferry for up to date timetables and book in advance.

 

Getting to Canaipa (Russell Island), Jencoomercha (Macleay Island), Karragarra Island and Lamb Island
